The results are in and although I didn’t place a 1, 2 or 3 this time round my story ‘Paraskevidekatriaphobia’ was highly commended by Morgen Bailey (yippee). I received some constructive criticism about this particular story when I published it.
Here it is again. The theme was superstitious. I’d love to know your thoughts:
“Oooh we should play that game” giggled Evanora, “you know? Light as a feather, stiff as a board.”
“What’s that?” Theodora questioned.
“Easier to show you.”
“Now Glinda, you lay there and we’re going to lift you, using only two fingers.”
“Light as a feather, stiff as a board.”
“Light as a feather, stiff as a board,” a chorus of 12 chanted.
“Look! She’s floating.”
“Evanora? What’s that noise? Evanora?!”
Waiting reply, Locasta stirred the pot. Darn! After last time she should have known better: Friday 13th was no day for a sleepover.
“Oh, hello Obsidian.”
In other news, I haven’t published my six word stories for a couple of days. Page Flutter’s prompts are below:
Try Again : Blows come: learn, stand, fight again.
