Quote Off – Day 3…

Its the final day of the 3 day quote challenge.  The lovely bloggers who invited me to do this are Lizardin Bain and Sync with Deep.  I recommend heading over to their posts and share a bit of love!

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
  3. Share why this quote appeals so much to you.
  4. Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day.

Here is my quote for today:

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace…

This is a verse taken from a song called Imagine, written and sung by John Lennon.  This particular verse gets me the most.  To me, this basically sums up politics and religion; the two things us fu*kwits (humans) engage in war for (how retarded are we).

I realise I didn’t nominate anyone yesterday for the quote off so here are 6 nominees for the challenge (feel free to take part or not):

Ana Silva

Short Prose Fiction

Rup Arya

Nash Christmas

Its my last day off work today, so have a lovely day people (its miserable here).

  1. I almost skipped the nominees but something caught my eye and I had to double check if that was my really me haha Thanks for the nomination, I’ll surely give it a try! I loved reading your quotes for the last few days 😊

  2. I am pleased and impressed that a musical giant of my generation is remembered and quoted by a lady who was not born when he died.
Imagine was, of course, a sensation at the time of its release almost 50 years ago, and is often ranked as a favourite song in radio polls.
Thank you for visiting Sound Bite Fiction.
